Conformance Technologies has been providing solder training and certifications for the last 15 years. Our instructors have over 35 years experience in the electronics industry; contract manufacturing, defense, and medical. Training is held at our Monroeville, PA (Pittsburgh) training facility or we can provide on-site training at your location.

We believe a good foundation is important by offering basic solder courses in Through-hole, Surface Mount and Wires & Terminals training. These courses are geared toward the novice assembler and are also good preparatory courses for the IPC J-STD-001 certification. Lead-free soldering is also offered for those companies transitioning from tin/lead soldering as well as other courses important for today's electronic manufacturer. Our courses can also be customized to your company's own requirements.

Why come to us? Some companies are using CD rom training for their employees. We're here to answer your questions and "hold your hand" if needed, to help make that first good solder joint or help with a new advanced workmanship skill.

IPC Certifications are offered to help meet customer and quality requirements in your company. We are an IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Authorized Training Center to provide IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 Trainer and Specialist certifications. We are also qualified to provide IPC/WHMA-A-620 Specialist certifications.
