LEAD FREE SOLDER TRAINING

This is a one-day course for either Through-hole or Surface Mount Rework

This course consists of lecture and hands-on practice. The student will understand the basis for RoHS and WEEE, materials and processes for producing quality lead-free solder connections. This is not a basic solder course; the student should have prior soldering experience before attending this course.

The Lead Free Soldering course includes:

• Introduction to RoHS and WEEE
• Lead free solder issues
• Printed circuit board plating types
• Materials, ie solder, flux
• Tools and Equipment
• Solder methods
• Solder Inspection
• Hands-on workshop, Surface Mount and/or Through-hole

Upon completion student will receive a certificate of accomplishment from Conformance Technologies.
