IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Application Specialist (CIS)
Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
The IPC/WHMA-A-620 CIS course provides a review for acceptance criteria for wire and cable harness fabrication and installation.
The entire course is 8 modules in all. Module 1 is the prerequisite for the course; the rest of the modules are optional, allowing companies to choose only the modules that meet their respective requirements. The course consists of lecture then testing. There is one open-book examination for each module. Duration for this course is 1 - 4 days.
Upon successful completion, students will receive an IPC certification valid for 2 years.
