IPC-A-610 Certified Trainer (CIT) Certification/Recertification Course
Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies

The IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Trainer Certification Course is an indepth review of the IPC-A-610 Standard. At the conclusion of the Course, students will take one open and one closed book written examination. The first part is a 75-question open-book exam. Students will be required to navigate the entire document locating acceptance criteria of various soldering and assembly scenarios. The second part of the examination is a 25-question closed-book exam, which covers the Policies and Procedures of the IPC Certification Programs, along with the general requirements of the IPC-A-610 Specification. Students who successfully complete this Course are awarded an IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Trainer Certification valid for two (2) years and are authorized to conduct the Certified IPC Specialist Course.

Upon successful completion, students will receive a Certified IPC Trainer Certificate and all the necessary course materials required to conduct the IPC-A-610 Application Specialist training.

There is no soldering in the course; only lecture and required testing.

The IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Specialist Certification Course is an in-depth review of the IPC-A-610 Standard. This course is modular so the duration of the course depends on the modules selected. There is one open-book and one closed-book examination after Modules 1 and 2 lecture (required) and one open-book examination for each module completed afterward. Students who successfully complete this Course are awarded an IPC-A-610 Certified IPC Certification valid for two (2) years.
